The green valleys and misty mountains of the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea

Western Highlands, Papua New Guinea

Bringing light and connection to remote villages.

Connect Digital Villages PNG is a non-profit initiative on a mission to bring solar-powered internet access to remote communities across Papua New Guinea — beginning with our pilot project in Kun Valley.

Our Mission

To connect every remote village in Papua New Guinea to clean power and the digital world — without leaving the land behind.

Across the highlands, communities live rich, resilient lives far from roads, electricity and the internet. We believe access to information is a bridge — to education, healthcare, markets and one another. We start small, listen closely, and grow with the people we serve.

Solar Powered

Clean, reliable energy designed for villages far beyond the power grid.

Connectivity

Affordable internet access that opens a window to the wider world.

Education

Online learning, information and opportunity for the next generation.

Community Led

Built with villages, not just for them — guided by local voices.

A meaningful beginning

One valley at a time

Our first proposed pilot is in Kun Valley, Nebilyer Green Valley, in the Western Highlands Province. It is a place of extraordinary natural beauty and warm, close-knit communities — and a place where a single solar-powered connection could change what's possible for an entire generation.

This is the beginning of a long journey. We're building it with care, transparency and the people of Kun Valley at the centre.
